Chapel Hendrick Company I, 38TH regiment NC Troops

Grave site of Chapel Hendrick, he was born on 16 June 1827 in NC. His parents were George Hendrick and Eddie Sizemore. Chapel Married a lady named Mary and they had three children together, They resided In Cleveland County North Carolina.

Chapel Hendrick Enlisted on 28 February 1863 at the age of 39 as a Private in Company I, 38TH regiment NC Troops. Muster rolls show Hendrick as being present for duty until captured at the South Side railroad in Virginia on 1 April 1865. He was confined at Harts Island in New York on 7 April 1865, he was released on 19 June 1865.

Chapel Hendrick died on 1 march 1889 he is buried at Sunset Cemetery in Cleveland County NC. He is my 4th great grand uncle
