Doctor Alfred Frederick Hambright

The Inn of the Patriots in Grover NC was built in 1879 by Doctor Alfred Frederick Hambright. Dr. Hambright was an Assistant Surgeon in the Confederate States Army during the War of northern Aggression. He attended to Generals A.P. Hill and Stonewall Jackson.

Doctor Hambright was the great, great-grandson of the Revolutionary War hero and veteran of the Battle of Kings Mountain, Lt. Colonel Frederick Hambright.

Doctor Alfred Frederick Hambright is my 2nd cousin 5x removed. Lt. Colonel Frederick Hambright is my 6th great grandfather.
