My 3rd great granduncle Eusibius Sidney Hendrick was born in Cleveland County, NC where he resided as a farmer prior to the war. He enlisted at the age of 19 on 3-29-1862 in Company C, North Carolina 55th Infantry Regiment CSA . Records state that he was 5'-8-1/2' tall. He was Captured at Gettysburg on 7-3-1863. Confined at Fort Delaware until transferred to Point Lookout, MD on 10-20-1863. He died in prison on 10-30-1863. He is buried in the Confederate Cemetery at Point Lookout, MD. R.I.P
