My 4th great grandfather was Private N.Stanford Camp, Company A 12th South Carolina Infantry Regiment. He was a resident of York, South Carolina and enlisted on March 12, 1862 , Private Camp was killed in action on June 27, 1862 at the Battle of Gaines' Mill during the Seven Days Campaign.
